It's a health food for my girl Elisabeth, at least. Perhaps it's not my favorite, and maybe not the most balanced nutrition there is, but it's the ONLY thing that she would eat, nibbling on just a couple over the last four days. We don't normally buy them, but anything to get a few calories into her. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
She's finally rallied today and I think she's on the road to recovery. She started drinking her milk again (more today by 11AM than she had for the entire 24 hours 2 out of the last 3 days). Just when we were about to make that Dreaded Trip To The Doctor because we thought she was getting weak and dehydrated, she turned it all around and started acting much more like herself today. She'll still have a scary cough for several days, I'm sure, but we're on the way back now.
Whew! I've always heard about the amazing recuperative powers of little kids, but this is the first time I've really witnessed it so clearly!
But why is it that when the KID is sick, the MOM has to resort to eating comfort food too? Where is the logic there?

Some things defy logic! Happy to hear Ms. Elizabethe seems to be on the recovery side of things!
Glad Elisabeth is feeling better. None of those will be in my house...too tempting and I'm sticking to my "plan".
Because Mom's (a good mom) upset too. :) I'm so glad your little one is doing better! And, those little oreos wouldn't last 5 minutes around me, don't feel bad!
