Goofy is getting Goofier by the minute

Confession time: I didn't do the long runs that I should have this weekend. I did five miles slowly (12:48 min/mile pace) on the track, which is 20 laps, so it FEELS like 50 miles, but really is only about 1/8th of the mileage I'll be doing Goofy weekend. And yeah, I'm still sure I'll do it, even if I end up walking a lot of the marathon - unless I'm injured, once I start a race I don't stop unless they make me. I'm not saying it's sensible, mind you!

I didn't feel well today, and only managed 40 minutes on the bike trainer. Goofy may turn out to be yet another experiment in minimalist training.

I don't want to talk about it any more. So I'll change the subject and leave you with some more photos of the St. Michaels Christmas Parade. I had no idea that we had llamas nearby! I love this town! I love a parade!

I love the Santa on the motorcycle. Was it a Harley, perchance?

having just finished 'thon #3, with the soreness still very evident, I have to say that those of you doing the Goofy challenge are worthy of admiration and, in addition, are just plain NUTS!!! good luck with that!!
(and you know I'll be doing that combo in 2007 if all goes well! :))

I'm guessing Harley, but who knows? I'm not a motorcycle buff, myself!

Nothing says Christmas more than llamas and motorcycles.
Merry Christmas to you and your little ones!

OMG, I love those llamas!!!

Have you ever seen llamas run? It's the most bizarre thing. I'm sure they're envious of your running skills because I know you'll do just fine at the Goofy!
