The Great and Powerful Oz

. . . has granted my request.

I've received a deferral for jury duty in June!

Yay! One less thing to worry about right now while getting ready (and recovering) from these first two big triathlons of the season, and juggle while my husband still can't take care of the girls on own while he's recovering from surgery!

I hope you all are doing well. It does sound tough. (I love the Oz picture, by the way.) :-)

Good news about jury duty, I had it a couple weeks ago and was chosen for a jury, luckily it turned out to be a mistrial after one day of testimony.

I know what you mean about the early taper, I've been sick for about 2 weeks now so I started a really early taper. My time goals are out the window, I'm just hoping to finish without having to get off my bike and push it up those hills! :-)

Hope your husband recovers quickly!

That's good news, one less thing to worry about..

Is your hubby staying home from work? Are you being a good nurse?

I used to get called for Jury Duty like clockwork in NYC. You could defer 2 or 3 times, then you HAD to do it. I would schedule it for when my hayfever was worst, because I never auditioned well at that time, anyway. I haven't been called since coming to MD.
