Columbia photos by *Jeanne*

*Jeanne* was kind enough to come over again this year and cheer me on for that final grueling mile of the Columbia Triathlon course. No, she was NOT pacing me nor giving me aid on the course! She was running circles around me like a crazy woman, though!

I keep telling her she should be a race photographer!!

You can just barely see the buttercups stuck in the side of my visor here that I picked on the course, that I was planning on giving to my bike Buttercup for a job well done. I forgot all about it later, though! What an ingrate, eh?

No job is finished until the cleanup is done. . . .

Hey- great job on your race! What a pretty venu for a triathlon! Was the bike really hilly? It seems as tho times were off MPH wise-so it must have been a tough course!
Loved the photos-you must be feeling really proud of yourself today!

WICKED HILLY.

I have a couple photos of it up at
http://nancytoby.blogspot.com/2006/05/racked-locked-and-loaded.html
but you can't really tell from that.

Relentless.

Maybe they wouldn't be so relentless if I actually did any hill training....

Thank you!!

I think those are the best race pictures of you I've ever seen. Praise to those on both sides of the camera!

Great job Nancy.

I, too, did Columbia yesterday.

I'm sure you don't remember, but I was the stranger in the Mid-Maryland top that passed you, recognized Buttercup, and then yelled back "Go Nancy" at the beginning of the bike leg.

Congrats.

Those are some great pictures, Nancy and Jeanne! Best of all you are cheesen' as much as I was in my White Lake pictures! I really love it when people look happpy and in their element.

So, does this mean I have a Mrs. Pee Pee pants following? I'll up the ante, next time I am peeing on the bike. Standing, leaning to the left and all..

Great pictures and CONGRATS on not only finishing, but on improving your time. That's the way to do a race.

Can Jeanne photograph my races? Awesome photos!

That first one, where *jeanne* panned to blur your background to show motion.... THAT's how race photographers ought to take photos!!

Thank you for your support of my pho-JOG-raphy!
I think maybe I'll have to re-title that to
The Photo-Fartlek. That means running as fast as you possibly can, in order to make up for your time lost stopping to take a pic.
(Or in this case, in order to catch back up to the subject runner! Nancy was MOVING!)
