Torino 2006

Is anyone else getting psyched about the Torino Winter Olympic Games coming up in three-and-a-half weeks? I am! The flame was passed through Venice yesterday.

Time arrived yesterday at our house with Bode Miller on the cover. Can't wait to watch that bad boy tear up those slopes!

I work for one of the biggest sponsors of the Olympics. So yes. I've been told that I'm very psyched about the upcoming Olympics in Torino ;-)

Seriously, the Olys kick some serious tail, and I've always enjoyed the winter events more than the summer.

I can't wait. At our house the winter olympics are an event. We come home from work and sit and watch the games all night - big fun!!! Seriously though, I can't wait.

That pic of the Torch on a gondola! THAT made me teary-eyed! Terrific! I LOVED it when the torch went through Baltimore! I'd have loved to have been there to see it!

one of the speed skaters used to be an inline skater and my son has raced in the same meets as him. We've also got a poster of him on his wall -- it's going to be awesome to see him place as he's expected to.

LOL! That's unequivocal!!

There are lots of things about the whole corporate Olympic enterprise that I loathe too - but the athletes make it amazing to watch, to me.

I love the Olympics too! Can't wait.

A loooong time ago ('88) when the Olympics were in Calgary, my friend's sister was one of the torch runners. We ran along side her for a bit. It was super cool.
