Here's a shot from the Annapolis Ten Miler a little over a week ago. Rather unflattering, I'd say! And that's not the worst one, by far. But the shirt is super-comfortable, even though I look porky. The waistpack belt riding up underneath my boobs doesn't help the svelte lines of the outfit, either. The good news is that I've lost nine pounds so far in the Dead Losers Challenge! Hopefully with more to come off!
I won't get in my planned swim until tomorrow, but today I'm going for a long jogstroller walk in this suddenly beautiful weather, and I'll do at least 30 minutes on the bike trainer in preparation for the metric century on Saturday.

I can understand not being happy with a photo. I am hardly ever happy with what I see in my "workout clothes" but I did notice one thing...
You are smiling in every single one of your pictures! Proof you were having a good time!
the photographers always take the pics at the worng time, but like holly said at least your smiling and having a good time!
Girl, you look fabulous! In yellow -- my favorite color! And there is no way for a beltpack to be flattering -- mine cuts right on my waist and highlights the belly bulge. But you look great!
Great job on the 9 already! Can I borrow some money when you win???
If that was a pink top, you'd pass for my twin. Wayt to go on the 9 pounds.
Hey, you look great! And don't worry about offending. I am unoffendable...if that's a word.
Hey, if race photos are supposed to look good then I'm getting screwed!
Honestly, I don't know anyone with good race photos. I think they choose offial race photographers on their ability to make us say, "OMG, do I really look like that???"
Congrats on the 9 lbs! Eat right, exercise, and the body just sort of naturally figures things out. Nature sure is funny that way. :-)
I love yellow!!!!!!
I would call 35 miles a "metric century". (Double it and add 30 right?)
Race clothing aren't meant for normal people. I think it's secretly made by gnomes who wear it because it hangs on them and nobody else.
Congrats on the 9 pounds so far! That's a great accomplishment!
