I'm home, and I finished the
New York City Marathon yesterday (although my feet were trashed so I ended up slowly walking in the last 6 miles)! Thanks for watching out for me! Unfortunately the scan doesn't do the medal justice, it's deeply sculpted and didn't all get in focus in the scan. There were
36894 official finishers, so only 2.2% of them finished behind me! But we finished! I'll post a long report when I've recovered a bit, and when I get my mind around the fact I'm actually entered in
Ironman Florida a year from now....

Congrats on finishing NYC marathon! I watched the NBC coverage and it looks like SUCH an amazing atmosphere to part of. I have it very high on my list of stand-alone marathons to run and I'll get there someday. Also, congrats to getting into IM Florida. I'm looking forward to reading about your preparation for the next year while I get ready for IM Canada 07.
