Person of the Year

ME!? Aww, thank you. I'm honored!

This Person of the Year won't be posting about any of her workouts any time soon, it appears, so if you're looking for that, sorry, wrong place.

Here's the current score in our house today:
Croup - 1
Pneumonia - 1
Mom and Dad - 0

Sigh.

That's rough. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Oh, yuck. I had croup as a little kidlet and had to spend time in the hospital in an oxygen tent. It's nothing to take lightly!

Best of luck to you and yours!

Oh man. When you are holding your child in the bathroom as it fills with steam at 3 AM close your eyes and pretend you are at a high class spa.

Sorry to hear you have respiratory hell at your house.

Sounds like the voice of experience!

Thanks! Catherine is doing fine now, but we're still waiting for the antibiotics to really kick butt on Elisabeth's pneumonia....

If you don't get the 'person of the year' award I will give you the "mom of the year" trophy....hang in there. Get them better before Santa comes!

It seems to be going around. My grandson, it seems, also has been afflicted with this ailment, and naturally right after he spent the night with me. Hopefully, I can escape the bug. No time to be sick! Hope you feel better.

couldn't happen to better person. The Time article, not the illness stuff.

Make sure you include the award if you decide to update your resume.

I discovered your blog a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much that I have gone back to the beginning of your blogging days to read it all! I just read a post on how it annoys you for people to visit your blog and not have the courtesy to say hello... so hello! Also you've taught me a lot about race nutrition and speed work. And your girls are adorable! Thanks for the information and entertainment.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone!! We're recovering here fairly well, but not getting much exercise, that's for sure!

Hope every gets well soon, and you get to use some other muscles, as well.

Hang in there!
