This is how the first ten weeks of 2006 stacked up for me, on a week-by-week basis. Not very high volume training (yet), but solid consistency for me, and gradually increasing totals. Plus a marathon, two half marathons, and a swim clinic under my belt. That's money in the Bank of Ironman, I'm hoping!
Checking my Excel chart every week and maintaining weekly minimums in each discipline has made a world of difference in the consistency of my training this year. That's a big change for me! Hurrah!

Good graph..i was just reading your post about getting ugly glasses for your daughter until 25...*LOL*...hilarious
Be prepare to see that graph increase as the training increases :)..those long rides, runs, swim will count for something :D
You're so scientific! No wonder you are doing so great, and getting all those PRs lining up and falling down before you as you progress!
:-)
That is a neat graph! I just got out my training program last night. Only 8 more weeks until my first Half Ironman.
My training program is just black and white. No pretty colored graphs like yours. :0)
Congrats. I'm still waiting for tomorrow to come along, but it never comes. Luckily for me, I have a job that pays me 3 times a week to go exercise so I will be starting more and more. I've been getting out and walking, fast, and my b-i-law told me to walk the first 1/4 mile and then start running.
Nancy that is the problem with tomorrow, it always comes today and never seems like tomorrow. Wednesday, I will get out there. That's a promise!
I thought I was obsessed with my charting my workouts...but I have never put them in excel and made it pretty! (Get obsessed, stay obsessed, I guess is what our mantra should be!)
Good for you!
great chart. great going. :)
that's an awesome graph!
