Here I am, running with my two personal bodyguards Dave (foreground) and Chuck (right) at the B&A Half Marathon.
We should have had a fantastic finish photo with the three of us coming over the finish line together, arms raised in victory - but they seem to have missed it entirely! Sigh. It would have been a great one.

That second picture almost makes you look like you're enjoying yourself! Great job. Too bad they missed the finish picture.
Two bodyguards?? Shall I expect to see you in a black Suburban anytime soon? :)
You look good, strong and do appear to really be enjoying yourself. Congratulations on a great race.
Great photos, you look really strong and happy. Too bad about the finish photo. The race photographers missed me in my first, last, and only marathon as well, no finish photo.
Congrats on a race well run!
Kind of like the President out for a run, eh? Next we'll be looking for you to arrive at the races in a Marine helicopter.
Nancy, nice photo of you and the escorts. Your comment about bodyguards remineded me that about 20 years ago here in Houston, Madonna was in town for a concert and I ran into her out at a local park running with 2 bodyguards that were the most massive individuals I have ever laid my eyes on.
On a side note, I wanted to thank you again for linking to our Blog Database on the main Faithful Soles web site. We now have bloggers from 37 states in the USA and 20 other countries. Thanks and great job in the race.
It's the journey, not the destination... I like the on-the-run photos!! They tell more of the story!
Yeah, I should employ some bigger burlier bodyguards, then they will run a little more slowly!!!
Oh, too bad about the finish photo. I don't think I got a photo at the finish either last year, come to think of it.
But you look like a VIP or something to me with your 2 bodyguards :-) Congrats again on a great race!
I never get pictures that look like what I want them to look like and in my last 1/2 marathon I got not a one!!!
You look great with your bodyguards, though. Perhaps a career as head of state would suit you!
You look very -- OFFICIAL! and good. you look very very good. Nice work!
Looking good!! Although you look like you are scowelling at your watch in that first picture!
Great finish line pictures ALWAYS seem to get lost ...I think it is a *Murphy's Law of Running Photos"
This is my first time reading your blog... how fun!! Great job on the race, I wish I had some bodyguards :)
