Does anyone have the story on this? It strikes me as bizarre but probably due to an inability to manage funds. It sounds like they are kaput forever, not for temporary.
Thanks Phil but that isn't punditry - it's blather. I'm really interested to know what the problem is and I'm guessing it falls under the heading of 'too much, too soon'. Had they put on 1 or 2 races with well publicized plans to expand things might have worked better. Clearlake was a hit.
Aw drat. I was thinking this would be the ideal transition (pun intended) from a half to a full. It seemed like a good distance to tackle before heading to the "big show." Thanks for the info...
