Turtleneck swimsuit

Here's the new suit I just ordered from Speedo. 20% off, coupon code SPEEDO82. Plus a nice new pair of my favorite Speedo Vanquisher goggles, in pretty magenta.

I'm tired of suits that bag out in the chest and create a windsock in the water and slow me down.

I'm sure I'll be MUCH MUCH FASTER in this one. (And I'm sure my figure will look exactly like that in the suit too).

Uh, that, and some fast swim training would help too. . . .

I like it. Thanks for the coupon tip too.

If you like that you'd probably like Terry's presta tank. I love this thing because it's got a racer back and large pockets on the back, but best of all, it has a high neck which means I can get into my aerobars without giving all the guys on the trail a major eyeful.

Oooh, just got a Terry catalog and it's sitting in the Big Pile right now... gotta dig it out.... thanks! Not yet sure if I'll like this suit, might be like swimming in my wetsuit top....

I will be very interested whether the neck feels constricting or the zipper uncomfortable. I have the same frustration with the drag at the top of my suit, and high neck suits are getting harder to find, particularly with bra support and serious chlorine resistance.

Enjoy the new suit. I've been swimming with TYR diamondback suits. My sister sent me a couple from the US and I've been very happy with them. My other suits would stretch at the sides and I'd start to... um... pop out. This one is higher cut on the sides of the chest so no stretching or bagging. It doesn't have an actual bra top so I wouldn't go running in it, but I love it for swimming.

That looks like the speedo water polo suit. If it is, then it's a very good suit. It's what I wore for years (and will again when I start swimming laps again). The neck isn't really that high once you've got it on.

High neck suits are really efficient and flattering at the same time! You'll look great in it...and in the Kayak too! (FUN!)

I'm seriously thinking I might have to try this after I get past the baby bump - it might solve my problem. My girls are so copious they challenge even the sturdiest suits to stay put, when you add the wind sock factor I'm forever pulling up and tucking in.
