The annual town carnival
Our local small-town carnival is held each year on the school grounds a block from our house. Last year the girls were too young to "get it", so we were interested in seeing if they might enjoy the sights and sounds this year, and maybe even like to go on some rides.
Nope. They were petrified. Catherine screamed just watching several of the rides.
But their first corn dog was a big hit.

Oh my goodness .. the girls looked so serious and stressed...I bet once they "ride" a carnival ride someday and realize it is even more fun than the park slides and swing that they will be screaming when you try to take them home...
In the meantime, the corndogs look like they were a big hit! Mmmmmm
