There ought to be a law

. . . that it's prohibited to throw out your back unless you're doing something really at your limits. Something exhausting. Something difficult. Something that gives you a sense of accomplishment.

One should never, ever throw out one's back while asleep and wake up with the nasty surprise that it is torqued and painful after a freakin' REST DAY.

Owwww.

I'm just sayin'. . . .

I don't like that law. I would break it all too often.

Hope you're feeling better. Backs can be evil things.

The first time I my back went out-completely unable to move- I am embarrassed to say I was feather dusting.

Baboo once threw out his back while toweling off after a shower. This is while we were still in college.

oh no. I've thrown out my back picking up a piece of paper. no lie.

feel better soon. Two words of advice: laying down is the worst therapy; and muscle relaxers do nothing.

(that was more than two words.)

Feel better!

I've heard that it can happen while sleeping. I did it once while reaching behind me to grab something. OUCH!
