Steelhead quickie report

I finished!

Swim: 00:50:05 went great!!! (Out of water by my watch at 49:05)
T1 (by watch): 10:22 - very long run over sand.
Bike: 03:43:53 includes 2 stops and a rear wheel inner tube change. Up until mile 43 I was doing great at a 16.1 mph average over hills even though my rear derailleur was totally on the blink!
T2 (by watch): 3:43
Run: 03:01:38 (very hot at start, kind of lost motivation!)
Total: 07:48:10

Woohooo! Great job. I was tracking you as well. Your bike split is great, especially given the mechanical difficulties.

Outstanding job yesterday with the weather and stupid derailleurs, etc. It was great to meet you and thanks for helping me through the "run". :)

Awesome job, but I totally have to say, "No. Way. Total irony." Here's why.

It sounds like Felt S25's were averse to the 40 mile mark, this weekend. I also flatted my rear tire, at just over the 40 mile point in my ride Saturday. It couldn't have been too long after I fixed mine that you flatted.

Great job on the finish. I was watching the Kona race, and Norman Stadler was way less prepared than you.

Hey Nancy, sorry I didn't get to see you Sat. I saw two yellow Felts racked in the Athena/Clydesdale row, one with yellow tires, one without, but never saw the owner of either one while I was in transition. Was either of them you?

Good job on your finish.
