Bronze medalist at the World Time Trial Championships in Salzburg, and full-time Stanford M.D. Plus she's in her late 30s. What a woman! I'll be cheering for her at the Beijing Olympics when Dr. Christine Thorburn will be approaching age 39!I sure wish we got better coverage of women's athletics in the USA! There are some great stories out there that never reach the mainstream press.

Well, if you're into curling or volleyball, there was tons of coverage, this weekend.
Perhaps they should expand their coverage to other events to see if perhaps more people would watch things like cycling.

Yeah.... women just don't get the press. If there's a woman doing what Dean Karnazes is doing, do we hear about it? And if there's not, then....
