Back to the track. A 9:28 mile (#2) was the best that I could do today. It will take me a while yet to get back to the place I was in February before I was sick when I did three 9:02 miles in a row (on a hilly course, too)! I'm also 3-4 pounds heavier now - time to reverse that situation!
I've got a one mile race in our Championship Series in 2 1/2 weeks and I'd like to bring that speed up a bit by then, certainly.

Go Nancy!
Okay, this has nothing to do with your post, but could you email me the name of that baby lotion stuff you use for saddle butter? I'm pretty sure it's you I'm remembering who posted about it a gazillion years ago.
Oh, and I'd still kill for a 9-anything mile! :)
Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion. It's in a big tan tube with a blue cap in Walmart or Target's baby section. Contains dimethicone so it's slippery - great stuff!!!
Good job on those nice mile spilts.
You've been doing a lot of sppedwork lately and it seems to be paying off.
Congrats!
Good job on the mile repeats, especially since they were on a hilly course!
