I'm currently on the 'you know, you really eat too much starch' diet that consists of cutting back on, but not eliminatin all the whole grain goodness I'm so fond of. I have also resisted the clarion call of pizza for a couple of weeks. So far, so good.
Yes, I expect this whole "eating clean" thing to be around for a while precisely because it is meaningless and anyone can attach whatever they want to it. I have to say though that I don't think Atkins is as bad as everyone says. I lost over 50 lbs on Atkins and felt great the whole time. It is not true that you can't eat fruit. That is a common misperception. The point is that you have to control your carb intake not eliminate it, and it seems to work. I admit that it is difficult to follow because starch becomes this all consuming passion while on Atkins. You have never really tasted pasta until you have eaten it after being on Atkins for three months.

Wow. Puts my 'try not to shovel down so many carbs when I'm tired/stressed' diet to shame!
Kind of boggles the mind, doesn't it?
Long live the chocolate diet!
