Tri-mom Squared, aka The Nancinator: I'm a back of the pack triathlete and a 52-year-old full-time mom of twin first-graders. I struggle with motivation and weight loss but keep plugging away. Since 2000 I've completed in various road races and triathlons somewhere around 20 miles swimming, 888 miles cycling, and 1246 miles running and walking. It's a start. Probably I'll always be eligible for the Athena body weight competition category (150+), but I'd like to just barely qualify! I have a strong academic and professional background in sports nutrition, exercise physiology, and biomechanics - now it's time to apply it to myself.
