Angry Pluto
I'd be angry if they took away my planet too. I guess the little model of nine planets at our local playground is going to have to be changed now. Too sad.
Pluto had it coming. It was the poorest excuse for a misshapen lump of rock masquerading as a planet that I've ever seen. It couldn't hang with the big boys.
Of course, one of my collaborators is the Principal Investigator of the multi-million $$ New Horizons mission to Pluto. He's not taking the news as well.

Of course, being a science teacher, this was emailed all over and around again. I just got my third email about it today.
That's just crazy. It's like taking Vixen out of Rudolph's pack of reindeers!
My girls are sad. No Pluto? They think it's because he was so tiny that he was picked on.
I'm surprised it took them so long. They've been talking about it for years!
