Vanishing landscape
My town just issued a building permit for a house right where this majestic tree stands. Criminal! Three lots down from our house. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
I'm not clear on all the details but I think the town had to make a special exception to the setback requirements in order to fit a house on the lot - which they didn't have to. Oh well.
It sounds like the tree is located on private property. Perhaps someone should have considered making an offer on the property to save the tree.

ReplyDeleteWeird. I saw the picture and thought, "Wow, that looks like the Eastern Shore of Maryland." Then read that's where you live.
