If 7 ounces of garlic-infused olive oil is spread over half the kitchen floor and most of the clothing and four feet of two small four-year olds. . . .What would be the half-life of getting the smell out of the house?
And how long does the coefficient of friction of the kitchen floor remain near zero?
Fortunately, we can assume for purposes of this problem that less than 1 percent of the oil by volume was tracked into the adjacent carpet.
Woah, and to think I was a little peeved at hubby tonite when I noticed some olive oil on the shelf of my new cupboard! It's all a matter of perspective I guess...

OMG - tell the truth... do you ever feel like strapping those girls to the wall with duct tape? They do have a way of getting in to stuff. Lucky they are so cute!

ReplyDeleteI know it takes at least 1/2 bottle of swifffer and several pads to declare your floor safe for company... The smell is another thing entirely... Good luck! and good thing they are so cute!!
