These are the new thing for athletes - ultra-tinted contact lenses. I think I might like these for marathon runs to cut eye strain without messing around with glasses!

ReplyDeleteI saw these at an expo, they looked really nice. They came in that brown tint or a green tint though I think there was a difference in the two, not just a colour.

ReplyDeleteI got a trial pair when I got my regular contacts a few months ago (the green/grey kind, for endurance athletes). They just make everything yellow, I couldn't really tell a difference. I prefer my sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteThe best part is that your eyes look all black, though. More intimidating than anything else.
That's interesting! I'd like to try some, but I use fairly unusual old geezer bifocal contacts, and I think it will be a long time before they come in my prescription!
