The Goofy Nightmare

I had my first dream about the Goofy challenge races (half marathon and 5K on Saturday, marathon on Sunday) last night.

I was in a restaurant (I think) getting ready for the race, except my socks were dirty and wet and all I had were moccasins and a pair of wet running shoes, and I knew either one would be bad to run in. So I was putting on my wet running shoes with no socks, preparing to head to the start. But then all the fast male runners in the 5K began streaming in the door running towards me and past me, through the restaurant, and I couldn't get throught he door to the start, and that meant the 5K race had already started, anyway. Then I realized that it meant that I had forgotten to run or missed the half marathon that morning. Somehow I knew I still had a marathon to run the following day, but I wouldn't get my medal for doing all of them. I was distressed.

Then I woke up.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?

There was another part of the dream about checking in for the race, where there were huge lines and I didn't want to wait, but it was all confused. But I'm pretty sure that part of the Disney experience is accurately foretold.

Race dreams are so funny. I'm still having them and I'm not even racing!

Leave your moccasins at home. ;)

Hmmm this sounds suspiciously like the dream I always had in college that I had either a: arrived late for a test or b: missed the test entirely. It sounds like pre-race jitters to me, but I'm no sigmund.
